Neil Seidel is one of L.A.’s top studio musicians. A master guitarist and composer, Seidel is currently scoring films, commercials, and documentaries through his studio Independent Creative Sources.

Seidel’s expertise spans many musical genres. He is a former member of the critically acclaimed Indian world music group “Shanti”, the hit rock-n-roll band “Gary Lewis & the Playboys”, and is listed in “Who’s Who in Country Western Music”.

His recent projects include the release of his second jazz CD, Vintage Guitar II, as well as the production of rap, reggae, and world music for films and documentaries. The title track of the film “Soul to Soul”, which Seidel co-wrote, is currently being rerecorded for the re-release of the film of the same name to commemorate Black History Month. The film is set to receive honors during the 2004 Grammy week.

A Silver Medal Recipient at the Information Film Festival, Seidel is currently scoring a Mexican feature film that features two of his original songs.

The Independent Creative Sources studio is fully equipped to produce a wide variety of orchestral, world, and library background music for film, commercial, video, and theatre projects.
